September 12^th-20^th, 2013. Dr. Weber talked about the use of informatics tool to mining of silent gene clusters and the possibility of heterologous expression of such clusters. Meantime, staffs of Fermentation & Biotechnology group and Dr. Weber exchanged the experience of the projects from each side, also a preliminary collaboration agreement on mining of insecticide biosynthetic gene clusters is drawn up.
